Recognition is Fuel, Not Finish

Recognition is not the finish line. But it is fuel. And fuel matters.

Being named to the "Hot 100" wasn’t for Empower Moves Collective. It was for my other work—the work that laid the foundation for all of this. Still, the recognition reminds me of what’s possible. Of the impact I’ve made—and the impact I’m still building toward.

It’s fuel.

And this year, I had the privilege of nominating three professionals for URMIA awards. Seeing them recognized meant the world to me. Their work, their brilliance, and their presence deserve every bit of spotlight.

So no, the Hot 100 wasn’t the destination. But it’s fuel.

We’re just getting started.
